You'll be amazed at how far you progress in just two classes with the Free-Motion Mastery in a Month (FMM30) process. Begin by learning how to set up your sewing machine, find your perfect quilting speed and get even, flowing stitches. Part 1 will teach you to quilt Lines, Curves and Circles. Part 2 will teach you Teardrops, S-Curves and Spirals, then instantly turn each shape into Feathers! You'll come away having already succeeded at free-motion quilting and with a step-by-step plan to continue building your comfort and confidence.
The class applies to both domestic and longarm machines. You'll be able to work from your own machine in the comfort of your home sewing room. The video link is two-way and interactive, so RaNae can see you as you quilt and offer help in real time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a copy of Free-Motion Mastery in a Month for the class?
Yes. A copy of the book and the tool kit are included with your registration for this class. If you already have the book and tool kit you may select the registration without them. If you do not have them, select a registration that includes the book and tool kit.
How do the live interactive classes work?
The class is taught on an online learning platform -- Zoom -- that allows you to see and interact with the teacher and the other class participants. At the scheduled time, the teacher and students will log in together -- everyone can see everyone else, so you can share work, ask questions, etc. You can view the class on a computer, tablet or phone (you may need to download the app). You will receive login instructions including links and passwords by email and text on the morning of the class. Please "arrive" online during the 30 minutes prior to class so you have time to get set up and learn to use the video conferencing tools.
How do I set up Zoom?
If you watch the class on a computer, you will receive instructions for downloading Zoom at the time you log into the class. If you watch the class on a mobile phone, go to Google Play or the App Store to download and install Zoom Cloud Meetings.
If you need help, you might want to ask a friend, a relative (grandkids are really good at this stuff!), or go to a computer store or library. The teacher will be online 30-60 minutes before class begins to help get set up for the class. Once you've done this the first time, it's easy after!
Can I get access to the class after the live session?
The class is recorded and posted online afterward in a private Facebook group, so you can go back and watch the class again if you want to review it or if you missed it.
Can I get help after class?
After class you will have access to a private Facebook group for people who took the same class. The recording of the class is posted there and you and other students can share your work. The teacher checks in from time to time to answer questions.
How long will I have access to the class?
The class ends at the end of the live video conference, but the recording of the class will remain available in the Facebook Group where you can access it.
