A modern approach to an ancient shibori technique will leave each student with a truly unique garden of large, graphic posies! Used together in a quilt, or individually as mini quilts, these inspirational 22" x 22" flowers love to be embellished, quilted, painted and embroidered!

Take advantage of this online experience to be with Cindy in her studio, watching up close as she shares her tips and techniques.

To follow-up, students can post their finished work in a private Facebook group where Cindy can answer questions and offer suggestions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the live interactive classes work?

The class is taught on an online learning platform -- Zoom -- that allows you to see and interact with the teacher and the other class participants. At the scheduled time, the teacher and students will log in together -- everyone can see everyone else, so you can share work, ask questions, etc. You can view the class on a computer, tablet or phone (you may need to download the app). You will receive login instructions including links and passwords by email and text on the morning of the class. Please "arrive" online during the 30 minutes prior to class so you have time to get set up and learn to use the video conferencing tools.

How do I set up Zoom?

If you watch the class on a computer, you will receive instructions for downloading Zoom at the time you log into the class. If you watch the class on a mobile phone, go to Google Play or the App Store to download and install Zoom Cloud Meetings.

If you need help, you might want to ask a friend, a relative (grandkids are really good at this stuff!), or go to a computer store or library.  The teacher will be online 30-60 minutes before class begins to help get set up for the class.  Once you've done this the first time, it's easy after!

Can I get help after class?

After class you will have access to a private Facebook group for people who took the same class. The recording of the class is posted there and you and other students can share your work. The teacher checks in from time to time to answer questions.

How long will I have access to the class?

The class ends at the end of the live video conference, but the recording of the class will remain available for  in the Facebook Group where you can access it.
